Good morning to all! To off set my rather rather heavy post of yesterday, I thought I might share with you something a little on the lighter side today! I call it "my funny looking tree" picture!Now is it just me or does this tree look like some odd sea creature? It's located in a nearby park and sometimes I still love to go by and look at it. Can you see it's curved scooped neck, followed by what looks like an open mouth, and then a jutted out forehead.
Can you all see that? Don't it look like the Loch Nest Monster or something? Maybe these 12 hour night shifts are just playing tricks with my head!

i believe that is a "trail tree", one the indians bent as a young tree to mark their trail. they are all through the appalachians...

That's very interesting Bee, I never heard of that, pretty much slept through history in high school! LOL
It is indeed a funny looking tree. I think you are probably working as I type this but as soon as you can, go visit my blog, I have a surprise for you and because you supported me so much I didn't want you to miss it.
I LOVE the tree! There is one similar at my inlaws house and my children always wanted to sit on it and "ride the horse"!
