Well, we managed to put up the Christmas tree tonight. I know I have finally made it to senior citizen status, when I found myself saying to my husband..."you know if it weren't for the grand kids we wouldn't fool with this" and meant it! But nevertheless it is up! Nothing too fancy, not too big and not too small.What makes this Christmas especially special for me, is that it will be the first Christmas in some years that I will hopefully...fingers crossed...have all my children home at the same time...at least for a few hours on Christmas eve, anyway. There is not a better gift you could give me than that!
The following are a few pictures of some of my favorite ornaments, some old, some new. Thought I would share them with you.
These crosses are my newest addition to the tree. I found them last year at one of the dollar stores. They are very "glittery" and shiny, couldn't get to capture that aspect with my camera. Christmas is all about the cross isn't it?
These are my angels. I've had them for a very long time and they too came from one of the local dollar stores! I do love angels!
Yes, I have butterflies on my tree this year! Why Not!? Butterflies are also on my favorite list...so I found these at my local dollar store...and...wha-la! onto my Christmas tree.By now, you know where I buy Christmas ornaments! LOL!

We have not put up a Christmas tree in several years. Our little home we now live in is too small for it but I put up a lot of Christmas decoratiions. I like your choice of decorations for the tree. Of course you know I love the angel!!!
