In tribute of Pearl Harbor and all of our military who will find themselves this Christmas serving our country in far, distant lands, away from those who love them dearly. Just as we must never forget 9/11...we must never forget 12/7 and Pearl Harbor and ALL those who risk their lives daily for us in the line of duty for their country.

I'm glad to see that someone posted about Pearl Harbor. I heard no one mention it today, but as Susan said, we must never forget it. I decided not to watch the video after seeing your warning, as I'm much to teary tonight already and I can just imagine.

My mother's cousin was working in Honolulu the day Pearl Harbor was attacked. I remember her descriptions of bombs falling through the air, the explosions, and the stench the days afterward. I remember her horror, still palpable to her 40 years later.

I opted out of watching the video. Does that make me a big chicken? I just knew that I WOULD cry buckets.

I am thankful for the men and women who have served and are serving this great nation. They truly are heros.

It is the very least we can do to remember them, and to wish them peace. They go into harm's way so the rest of us can remain safe.
