Slow Learner

Testing...testing...testing...

Ever wonder why we're continually tested in the same areas of our life?

Seems the same trial of our faith keeps happening over and over again?

"Why God?" "Why does this keep happening ?" "Why this same test?"

"Because dear child, you keep failing the test."

"Oh."

~~~Dear Father God, please help me to learn what it is I'm suppose to know from this trial...this test. With all my heart, body and soul, I desire to pass this test...and hopefully, at some point in time...if at all possible...be promoted. Forgive me , please, for being a slow learner. In the sweet name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.~~~
We may continue to fail the test, but He is so Soveign to continually give the test over until we do pass it! Thank you Deb for sharing. Blessings.
I know exactly what you mean Debra!!! I went through a lot of years saying "What are you trying to teach me?". He loves us enough to keep molding us in the fire until we become the shape and vessel He desires.
"Count it all joy, brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be complete and perfect, lacking in nothing." -James 1:2-4
I'll be praying for you, MeMaw. I love you!
Debra, I am a slow learner, too. It has taken me years just to be where I am now, a place of hope, knowing how much more I need to grow in grace, how much more patience I need to gain!
I was reading something last night that said it is really God's graciousness that allows our suffering. I know it's true, but it is so difficult. Yet, praise God for the great love wherein He loved us, and loves us!
Many blessings to you.
I'm still learning, slowly. Thanks for that Scripture. We nead it over and over again. Like the way you presented it, Debra.
I'm definately a slow learner!
So thankful God allows multiple re-tests or I would just be kicked out of class
Thanks and God Bless
Ah, such wisdom!
And don't you find that the reason we face the same trials is that we resist the real solution?
I'm hoping you had a good mother's day. I am well. Hubby is being deployed next month and will come home for a few days. I decided to surprise him and throw a party. I'm even inviting some of our favorite former patients!
