Snow Day In The South

Woke up this morning to a beautiful winter wonderland. It had snowed and iced throughout the night. As I am writing this it is seven am and it's still coming down quite heavily.

Such an amazing sight as I am looking out my window and typing this. We will get just enough to appreciate it's whiteness and beauty. Unlike some of my northern friends who get so much more and with it some problems.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Night before last I had such a glorious time celebrating my birthday with my loved ones. I didn't let on but I almost cried with joy. It was just so good to have them all here together at one time. As time passes on it gets harder and harder to do that so, I count it as very precious moments when we can all be together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I covet your prayers dear blogger friends as I am dealing with pneumonia and have a virus as well. I have pneumonia and my laptop has a virus! Both of us have had to go to the doctor. I am at home recuperating, but my laptop had to stay at "the doctors" office.

I'm actually having to pull up a chair to the old dinosaur (desk top) and use it. It is slow as molasses in January and has issues as well, but at least I can use it. It's very difficult to surf the net on, but I should be able to come by and visit some of your blogs. It will be just be at a snails pace. I hope to have my lap top back by Monday or Tuesday.

Blessings ya'll, gotta go look out my window!

Oh Debra, I heard and I am missing it all. DH said Natchez was supposed to have 9inches of snow last night and I guess it did but I am not there to see it. My daughter in FL just had a baby 2 days ago and I am here with them. Enjoy the snow!...Christine

Bless your heart... we're expecting snow this evening. I'm so sorry for the sickness; I'm not a good sick person, so I applaud your willingness to navigate the "dinosaur" in hopes of connecting with your blogging buddies. That is dedication, sister!

Praying for you today that you will know some swift and sure relief from the pneumonia.

Sorry your sick, Debra...and your computer. At least YOU didn't have to stay at the Doctor's!
Glad you had such a wonderful time with your family for your birthday. It's true, as our families grow and spread out, getting together is hard.
