"We all grow up with the weight of history on us. Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies." ~Shirley Abbott~

I would add to this title HE HAS RISEN.I just may do that along with a tip of the Hat to you.Because I'm swiping the picture.
Amen! Praise God for Resurrection Day!
HI!!!
As humans we cannot even imagine what he must have felt like that night, first to tell St. Peter he would deny him and Peter told him never and then he did it, how we all feel so bad when we think a friend has turned their backs on us, but to tell them they will and they still do it, of my oh my, how sad and lonely for our Savior to go through this.
But BOy am I ever Grateful for the sacrifice he made for us!!!!
Praise God for this!!!!
Have a Happy Easter and a Great day tomorrow as we remember Good Friday
hugs,

Debra:
I love your Thursday and Friday postings here. These days are so important, and what happened here takes us into Easter and rejoicing. But first... Friday and the cross. Lest we ever forget His sacrifice for us...
Thanks for the visual and scriptural reminders.
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Oh, yes! Hallelujah!
A paradox - "there they crucified him..." the saddest words but if he had not suffered, where would we be? I am grateful but never adequatly grateful.
His suffering became our gain...
I love the "Sundays a comin'" message. Doesn't life sometimes feel like Sundays a comin', bt more so "Jesus is a comin'". He has given us such hope.
