Greetings from NYC!
I originally intended to try to post daily from the hotel but it just has not worked out that way. So I will just give a brief synopsis of yesterday.
Yesterday we spent the day just walking all over the city. We finally got to visit the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the setting of one of my all time favorite movies, "The Out Of Towners". Then we paid a visit to St. Patricks Cathedral...wow! It was so beautiful, I hope to post a few pictures when I get back...but I already know the pictures won't do it justice.
Then we watched a beautiful sunset on top of the 74th floor of the GE building. Gorgeous! The views from this building are much better than that of the Empire State building. This building is called the Top of The Rock.
To top off the day day we took in a Broadway Show called "All My Sons" starring John Lithgow and Katie Holmes. It was a drama with a rather complicated plot but was very good nontheless!
Well, my husband has already called twice to find out if I'm alright down here in the hotel business center so guess I'll sign off!
Blessings to all, peace, and all that is good,
Memaw

All sounds wonderful. I'm glad you got to see that Broadway play, I've watched them promote it all weekend and I think John Lithgow is great.
Can't wait to see pictures too, have fun!
Hey Jen, will be home Thursday, then it is right back to real world on Friday. Will have to do 5 shifts in a row. Hope we will have a fairly tame group on the unit by then.I have like a million pictures!
Love ya
Hey Robbin, nice to hear from you, will post as many pictures as possible without boring folks!
Love ya, hope you are somewhat recouping from that last chemo treatment.
You know in the Bible, the number 5 stands for Grace..(that was your 5th treatment I think?) maybe that is the one treatment that will knock out the last of those cancer cells...in any case we will continue to pray to that end!
Blessings, peace, all good!
