Colorful Seasons

Posted by my lovely daughter Jennifer:Thanks Jen...I love you

Today is the day where families and friends gather to appreciate one another. It doesn't really matter if you haven't spoken in days, weeks, months or since last year. Around the table, families will gather to laugh and remember times past and present. Too often, the different colors of this particular painting will be altered, for life is brought in and life drifts out. However, what remains is an indescribable color of love. For this reason, I wrote the following poem to remember the loved ones who represent some of the most beautiful colors in the paintings of our lives.

Colorful Seasons

As crisp autumn air whisps our faces,
Gray skies beckon winter clouds
Laughter fills the yellow fields, such empty places
Orange and red leaves dance, so bold and lively
As if to mock you, a beautiful imitation
A season of change, to us untimely
Who determines the time for alterations
in life paintings except the almighty one,
taking us through colorful seasons only by the grace of the Son

To the most recent indescribable colors of love in our painting,

Nate Kizzar and Terry Waltman
We love you

Love in Christ,
Jenny
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, I am with thee."
