Springtime...This And That

***Springtime has arrived here in South Mississippi!

***I have Azaleas blooming. The trees are starting to get leaves on them. Oh my how happy am I? I just love warmer weather! Summer is just around the corner. Yes! Give me hot, hot, hot!

***I was so saddened to hear about the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Maryville, Illinois being killed by the gunman that came right into church on Sunday morning and shot him dead, stabbing himself and two other church members as well. I did some searching last night on the Internet and the young man that is suspected of doing this horrible act has been treated for serious mental problems. My thoughts and prayers are with this precious pastors family, the other victims, their church and with all those involved. How tragic.

***Things at work remain busy and crazy! As some might say, business is booming! Seems like there is a downward trend everywhere except for the business of treating alcoholics and drug addicts...not good I say, but it does keep me employed.

***I am looking forward to the Anne Graham Lotz "Just Give Me Jesus" conference in Jacksonville, Florida in April. It sounds like just the ticket for me...

...Jesus that is. Just give me Jesus...please.

I read "Just give me Jesus" last year. She is a gifted writer.
How long is her conference?

Flowers are just starting to sprout up here. I love the warm weather too!

But I'm really saddened by Pastor Winters' murder. What a senseless act. And in a church! I can understand why some people give up hope.

Just give us Jesus! Amen!

One of my favorite songs is called Give Me Jesus. It was played at my grandpa's funeral. He was just like you, the Lord was all he wanted as well. I will have to play you the song sometime. It's quite beautiful. You'd love it. Love you MeMaw

We are also up to our ears with pt's . It seems that we are one of the few places that has not been touched by the money crunch. It is a real blessing to still have a job and be able to help others at the same time.

Jesus. I just cling to Him in the face of senseless tragedy. He is our hope.

Flowers are blooming here too. Believe it or not, I have become a fall/winter person. I actually like being bundled up a little. I am going ot miss my jackets and sweatshirts!!
