Quiet Time
As many of you may have noticed, it's been rather quiet here on my blog. Some strange phenomena has set in whereas I find myself with not a lot to say.
Perhaps, though God just sometimes says..."hush child for awhile"..."listen".
And so I will...for just a little while.
Blessings of peace everyone, and all that is good!

Great picture of peace and quiet and beauty. All atributes the Lord longs to give us.

Psalms 46:10 (NIV)
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
Zechariah 2:13 (NIV)
Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling."
Maybe that's one of the (many) reasons I feel so immature in my Christian walk... I just won't shut up :)
You know, I like posts like this one. It lets me know that you aren't lost on Facebook and that everything is OK. Breaks are necessary I think - it gives us time to recharge.
I go through those times to. We need to step back and take a breath and just tune in to God and hear what he has to say. The selfish side of me says, but I MISS YOU!
They call me Deb has already expressed my sentiments! :0
So nice when we're obedient to what the Lord is calling us to do. And not to worry about what others might think. I love that peacefulness and security that only comes from Him!

I had to chuckle at your blog today. That's just fine. God is in this place, and sometimes it is exactly what He wants, for us to shush and listen for awhile. He's working right now, as you are quiet. His words are forming again. Enjoy this time!
HI!!!
Yes, sometimes it is in the quiet we hear the most!!!!And the Voice of God is the best one ever!!!! I often hear him late at night or when I'm sleeping, he talks to me in ways unlike any other!!!!Or I like to think that anyway!!!
The word of God is him speaking to me so often!!!

Listening to the Father can not be a bad thing. We will wait.
"in quietness and confidence shall be your strength" Isaiah 30: 15.
I know there are times -- often -- when I need to be still to think and to hear. Stopping by to wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving.
Sometimes we are better served by listening.
