Winter Dreams

Above photo is a picture of a beautiful window sill my son Scott and grandson Isaiah filled with multicolored rocks in the shape of a butterfly and gave to me at Christmas. I have really enjoyed it. This picture really does not do it justice as the pebbles are shiny and brings out the different colors depending on the sunlight coming through the window. I placed it in the window of my den and it's just breath taking!

I find myself in deep need of a warm, gentle breeze. I close my eyes and can almost feel one if I concentrate long enough. It's been 16 and 17 degrees here for the past several nights. I can't remember a colder January.

Yes, these are the things I am dreaming about on these cold winter nights. Butterflies, warm gentle breezes...and a Super Bowl win!

***Thanks to all of you who have offered up prayers on behalf of my brother. We think he may have turned a corner for the better. To God be the glory! He was able to actually eat something yesterday and was able to go 12 hours between pain shots. We are rejoicing in small victories. Again, thank you so very much.***

Have a great Monday everyone and remember, God loves you so much!

I am so happy to hear your brother is doing better! Praise God.
Yeah, a warm breeze from something other that the central heat would be so nice. Brrrrr.

Thank you for the update on your brother. For some reason his need popped into my head late last night and I lifted him to our healing Father again.
The butterfly window is such a 'hopeful' piece of art! Brings to mind the joy of renewal. What gifted son & grandson you have! And how they must love you to go through such time-consuming artistry.

I didn't know aboutyour brother, Debra, but glad to hear he's doing better. I sure hope and pray they find out the particulars of his problem and can help him to be alright soon.

I must say, it is very cold down there. By now I hope you have had a warming trend, as we have. It is pretty "balmy" today, well up in the forties at least.

Hey! I came over because I have the Saints on and thought about you! Sure hope they win for your sake. They certainly are looking good right now--just made their fourth touchdown!

I could use a window like this... so very lovely, and what a considerate gift. I know you will treasure it for a lifetime. We all need some touchpoints during the day; places we can look and touch and feel the peace of Jesus. It seems to me this will become one of yours.

Enjoy each precious moment it brings you.
